Butali SACCO Society was formed in 2012 to promote thrift among its members by affording them an opportunity for accumulating their saving and thereby creating a source of funds for providing affordable credit. The SACCO is registered under the cooperatives societies act 2004. Butali SACCO operates within the Societies Act, SACCO policies and its by-laws in daily operations. The Sacco began with only serving Butali Sugar employees. Right now, it has grown to serve all members in the community.
